Our Services

What we offer

We offer a chance to all. At the heart of EYE C U INC our team work collectively to make life accessible for everyone. We’ve rooted our cause around this desire because we’ve seen firsthand how it transforms lives.

From our Founder to people she has met along her journey to recovery —which our team has experienced.

We provide gift cards as well as some other services on a case-by-case basis. We will host monthly Food Drive dates and times will be shared on our Social Media Page.

Local Flyers will be posted as well. We assist with coordinating and reviewing Senior Snap Applications to be turned in.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES

WHAT IS ACCESSIBILITY?

Accessibility refers to how usable a product, service, environment, or device is to someone with a disability. Accessibility touches nearly every aspect of our environment; from the storefronts and offices, we visit the technology we use on a daily basis.

Imagine not being able to board a bus, enter a building, read, or even use your phone because of a physical impairment. This is a reality for many everyday individuals without technology and adaptations available to compensate for their disability.

UNDERSTANDING OUR GOALS

One out of every five Americans lives with a disability. The EYE C U INC is actively working to ensure that anyone who lives with this struggle is provided with the tools and resources needed to meet their educational, employment, and independent living goals. We use the legal framework of the Americans with Disabilities Act to build the scope of our work while diving more deeply into achieving the following goals.

  1. We fight to restore independence in the lives of those impacted by disabilities and diseases. We also work to ensure their schools and workplaces are accessible. Our team achieves this by working with companies that develop assistive technology and other resources to help those living with a disability meet their goals in these areas. We find resources to fund our process by seeking grants, private donors, and other sources to build the resources needed to fund these efforts. Together we can work towards cures to make a difference in the disabled community.

  2.  We strive to provide knowledge and resources for those with sensory impairments, as well as educate the communities they live in so they can better understand the value of accessible technology. We work to find up-to-date information and disseminate it to the public to ensure they are aware of what they can do to incorporate assistive technology into their own businesses, educational institutions, and other areas.
